Texas, Consumer Rights & Complaints

Clients receiving services in Texas have the right to file a complaint regarding services received.

How to File a Complaint:

Complaints must be submitted using the Council’s official complaint form. When filing, please provide:

  • Provider name
  • Dates of service
  • A detailed description of your concern

  • Email: Enforcement@bhec.texas.gov

Please note:

  • Complaints must generally be filed within 5 years of the end of services
  • Filing a complaint may require disclosure of confidential information

Louisiana — Consumer Rights & Complaints

Clients receiving services in Louisiana have the right to file a complaint with the licensing board.

The Board investigates allegations of unethical or unlawful counseling practices.

Professional Disclosure Statement

Services are provided by Brick Street Counseling in accordance with applicable state laws and the ethical standards governing licensed professional counselors in Texas and Louisiana. Telehealth services are offered in compliance with state-specific telehealth regulations.

Clients receiving telehealth services must be physically located in a state where Angela Henson is licensed at the time each session is provided.
